HUNTING
Hunt the rugged mountains of Southern West Virginia from our lodge in Justice, WV! Justice is centrally located in a four county region of West Virginia that is strictly bow/crossbow hunting only, year-in and year-out these 4 counties yield more Pope and Young whitetail than anywhere else in the state.
With thousands of acres of public land to hunt within an hour of the lodge the possibilities are endless for the pursuit of monster white tails and the chance at black bears that can reach and excess of 300+ pounds. The terrain is this area of the state can be quite steep and hunting from a portable climbing stand or lock on is the best approach to hunting the deep hollows and bench roads that run the mountain sides.
5 minutes from the lodge is the public boat launch to R.D. Bailey Lake and WMA which is 17,280 acres of public fishing and hunting. When visiting the lake don’t forget fishing gear! The tail waters of the lake receive annual fall stockings of trout and the lake itself is full of bass, musky, walleye, catfish, and hybrid striped bass.
